He is shaping up well considering he is a hell of big horse for a baby. Trainer has him up going even time and he is getting the idea on what’s going on.
At this stage if he continues to hold it all together he may be ready to trial in two weeks. However, trainer has made it very clear he will not push this horse. He really needs to show that he is capable of going to a trial.

Stable Visit Sat Oct 13th

Della was on hand to take a look at the Scandal, who stands at 16 hands already.
You will note his ribs are showing. This is because the first four weeks or so he was not fed oats so that he wasn't all fired up while his was going through his education. This fact along with the work he has been doing has seen him trim down. His rear end has some filling up to do as well, which will come with work and feed.
From della: These photos are after 4 weeks light work. His is very big in the chest and should fill out a bit more in the backside with extra work. Stands at close to 16 hands now and should grow a few more inches yet.He looks even nicer up close!!Big bugger, very quiet and well mannered but still a bit clumsy.Nev will try to take him as far along as possible this time in, maybe a jump out and a trial in 4 to 6 weeks if we are lucky with no shin soreness.

At the breakers
From Aaron
Royal Business is currently at the breakers getting the rough edges knocked off him. He is very full of himself and a big gangly type who doesnt really know how to run yet.
